simply in my dreams... in my thoughts...

too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around...

hmm..
been online for 2 hrs..
no layout that meets the eyes yet..
tired i guess.
sumtimes things just happen that you like the same things as others..its purely coincidental...really..

day in school-exhausted.
Meeting ended till 6.30pm.
Murals and Aboriginal planks almost completed..hmm deadline: 2 more weeks.
Gosh.. where have all the stamina gone to. Totally tired. Tired thinking about my students. Many students have to be referred as hardship cases. eg.
'S' has not been bringing workbook. Kept on giving me excuses and his mum just refused to come to school and apply for free books assistance. giving us lotsa excuses. Pity him so much. n another surprise.. came to school with torn shoes..only realised it this morning before music lesson. He took off his shoes before entering the music room and there his friends took his shoes n laughed! Oh man! i felt sorry for 'S'..n yeah..i reprimanded the kids. He's in P1..but he cant recognise alphabets..he did not attend kindergarten.. i really feel sorry for this boy. .hes lacking of family support.. I envy those single parent out there who are still responsible towards their children. In fact, during the P1 reg yest, came across few cases. for instance, dad is in jail...mom has run away..leaving the kids in the custody of his uncle. And another case, one girl's birth cert w/o dad's name...euw...n even her mom has enquired about financial help... :(
I glad i chose teaching as my profession. I hope..in one way or another..im given the strength to help these kids..I will always rem wat my parents say.. " no way, u can change 40 kids but at least can make a difference for 1 kid."

insyaAllah..

nite-nite everyone..
