just woke up from my nap..tiring day at work today! finally the mural and the aboriginal artwork were put up in front of the office. now its looks like a mini art gallery. few of my colleagues commented that the masks looked scary..spooky..this n that.. alahai! but do agree with them somehow! makes me dun wanna stay in school to mark till late evening..esp..alone! eheh but who will sey! not me..not me..
anyway, i do had fun n yet amusing day at work too. This morning during Social Studies lesson, my kids were at their best behaviour. I talked abt Singapore's history...like how AMK got its name..Orchard Rd.. and also abt TTSH! one kid actually asked me, " Miss Rahayu, do you think that dinosaurs ever stepped into Singapore? can we find his footprint?" hehehe i was like..oh man! so i told him that dino existed million yrs ago in the world..n since singapore is part of the world definitely they mite step into singapore"..and he added," shall we explore the whole of S'pore and search for its footprint?"..hehe gosh i was like Duh!!! and one by one..the kids asked me abt dinosaurs..we were kinda carried away..so i went back to the topic.. the class were kinda quiet again..and we cont reading the passage. At the end of the lesson.. before i left.. one kid asked me this, " Miss Rahayu, do u noe that theres Rajasaurus in this world? Its India's dinosaur!"..euwwwwwwwwwwwwww ! how can i not noe abt this.. so me trying to save the day..i promised them that we gonna talk abt this the next lesson. hehehe n yes yes..i went straight to the staff room..and surfed!..and..rajasaurus do exist!! whoah!!! myyyyyyy... now thats my P1 kids! bravo!
