simply in my dreams... in my thoughts...

too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around...

If you happen to past by the main road next to Bishan Park, you will notice big light yellow ribbons tied on the big trees. Its spooky if u drive past at night. creepy, to me, at least.. but if in the day.. its simply nice..

which reminds me of this senior teacher in my practicum school a few years ago.. He sang many old songs when he was doing his work..and of coz..one of them is.."Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree"

I cant help but to hum the tune..

and of coz...sing it sometimes..

especially now, when i see the commercial on tv.. can't help but to smile..

I'm comin' home I've done my time
Now I've got to know what is and isn't mine
If you received my letter tellin' you I'd soon be free
Then you'll know just what to do if you still want me
If you still want me.

Woah tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree
It's been three long years do ya still want me
If I don't see a ribbon round the ole oak tree
I'll stay on the bus, forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree

Now the whole damn bus is cheering
And I can't believe I see
A hundred yellow ribbons round the ole oak tree

and to you,

Happy Merdeka Day.. Semoga Sentiasa Gemilang!

*herda, the train stopped again.. :)
