some say..the icing is just tooooo sweet. hmm, its icing, isnt it? you know, sugar?and..of coz its sweet. so..its more for decoration purposes. so you throw it away, and enjoy the cake. now..hmm.. how abt other frosting.. well well, if i were to have some guests over, i wouldnt mind to use fresh topping..be it whipped cream or buttercream..or chocolate mousse ke moose ke moouse or chocolate frosting..or what-eva-cream-have-yous..

so u see.. royal icing is advisable.. and of coz, it needs to be freshly whipped. The most it last..4 days. So that's the reason why, the icing is done, 4-5hrs b4 collecting and by then..(4-5hrs) the icing will set and be hard enuff.. and those alphabets, have to be done few hours before that too.. hand made, knead the sugar dough..etc etc etc...

but me being a newbie (just started trying it last dec..)

baking cupcakes for fun and enjoyment (kalau ada rezki, syukran!) ,

for now.. if i need to transport it or perhaps the cupcakes will only be consumed many hours later and theres no fridge..then, i shall just stick to royal icing..otherwise if some still want butter cream..can oso, but must terus masuk fridge, ok?

and yes, its SWEET, ok?

but u can also eat it if you want too..

tho some dun mind..they just gobble it..

and my cousin's friend's mum who just find it 'sayang' to eat it, she actually left it on centre table! lahh cute lah makcik!!

unless, tak nak manis, nak yg boleh tahan lama..how about this one? forever and ever tak akan turn bad, you!
