so heres another update.. stagnant for awhile. been busy. this kinda busy is good. and i'm happy the way it is.
well, reality bites. n its ouch. yeah, 16 days in Perth..was way too short. Anyway, why perth again after 6 mths? heh, its the company, the place, the people, the scenery, the peace and its away away from work. And dispite of me using aussie no, sigh, i just had the itch to check on my working email, and *gulps* important email for the press. bah.
it was a shopping spree. everything on sale. and yes, for a size 16..its heaven!!! shopping haven! heh. imagine buying a working pants at AUD$5??? and shirts..at AUD$9.95.. at size 16??? yah..u can find it at This Fashion..just as cheap..but heh, that is for size 8 hor..i guess. Well we need That Fashion for size 14 above? k..nonsence..anyway, yet again, it was an excess baggage for me. *gulp* shopping madness.. Luckily i had Kak Naz who happened to go home a week earlier..so there goes 7 kg of my clothings! and..double/triple lucky..there Ina! who managed to get a slot to Perth! eheh thanks ina..thanks thanks..n thats like 10kg? ehhe when i collected my clothings from her, i didnt expect its gonna b in 2 huge bags! Clothes aside, it was shoe shopping too!! madness! and both aside, it was baking stuff too!!! 1 big box..and half of my luggage! and i had to hand carry..another 7.4kg bag..filled with..heh, my clothings. This is bad...gosh!
anyway.. it was exams period for the guys. so it was mostly jalanjalan..releks in the city..n window shopping for the first week. I rented a car, heh, 2 doorish red car. I was swooooooned! Imagine paying only AUD$135 for 5 days..and yet the guy said " you have a choice of white, yellow or red car"...and of coz..i said..RED! Sigh, it was winter..kalau boleh nak wind down the window u noe..feeling skejab! but brrr...its cold esp in the wee morning!
we went to rene's house for dinner too! Thanks Aunty for that roast beef and mushroom sauce recipe!! and of coz..ur baked cauliflower in white sauce with cheese recipe too!!! sumptious dinner! heh, ada pecel ikan bakar u!! n kangkung belacan u! sungguh pedas but nyaman makan with nasi yang panas!!! eheheh nice mom, good cook, nice house, good host..splendid! nice ..nice..
few days later, drove up to Mandurah to meet with my colleague, Fatimah who happened to own a house there. We met up and spent a night at its holiday resort. Had bbq and ate our chops midst of the cold... hehe gila! Next day, drove to Rockingham.. bought a wedding guide book..and there we were finding all the baking shops! I was happy, of coz..and seeing all the beautiful cakes right under ur nose..my...i wanna open a cake shop too!! *dream on...*
We went to Swan Valley the next day! Fetched Ina from Sheraton..fetched the girls..den next..fetched Fidah! Fidah..fidah! Shes in Norway now, enjoy her hols, definito! Heh, thanks for the scarf, minah! I didnt expect that Fidah can knit! eheh don't underestimate hor..Well in Swan Valley we went to chocolate factory, nougats factory.. grape vines( but dah kering) haha...and hit the Swan Bell..and end the day with nice dinner in the city.
Next day, with my cousin, we drove to Freo. Anyway, bumped into my colleague, JoyAnne! and also an old fren! Hi awak! She was there for hols at the same time to send off her hubby who is doing his Masters.. and shes leaving the teaching profsn..and gonna join him in Jan! I envy u, u know! Anyway, we got lost on our way back to Perth City! haha..it was only 6pm..but pitch dark! How did i get home? ahhaha by instinct! Really..
Then ended the hols..with a walk in the city again..n hey, another last min shopping...
so thats it.. its too short!
seems like there is a calling for me to stay in perth for good, aye?

hmmm.. see where i shall go next this dec! a short one..say 8-10days.. so that i can still take xmas n wedding cupcakes orders!
