simply in my dreams... in my thoughts...

too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around...

a very enriching trip. four schools, 2 universities and the art galleries set as an eye opener and of coz theres a take away for me to share with my fellow colleagues. The way we were welcomed was in a very grand way and i felt so touched and of coz thankful for giving the chance to learn about them.

The students were very friendly. And they were encouraged to ask us questions so that they can 'practice' their english..I was so shocked when this beautiful girl kept on nodding and smiling and cupped her hand and kept on saying shes nervous the moment when i told her that I teach music and art too. She went.. oh my..oh my..and her teacher nudged me and said that shes the school's singer who has the most beautiful voice. She sang to me.. loy krathong and reflections(mulan) and boy..i was awed. Reminds me so much of the beautiful voice of lea selonga too. Next, she insisted that i joined the rest for their traditional dance, ram wong... heh, i ended up doing 'lenggang kangkung' style. heh. we exchanged email address..and surprised me when i was given that beautiful hug.

the outdoor practices that the students had at c/h/u/l/a/l/o/n/g/k/o/r/n uni also never failed to impress me. With much pride they performed. and not forgetting the beautiful drawings of royal court families at the galleries..and Im impressed too by the way lessons were taught in pri/sec schools.

in short, it was indeed enriching..

and of coz.. not forgetting, that we missed our flight home. bah. and had to wait ..and took my first flt-air asia..

if only, we could extend our stay.. we didnt do much shopping..but im contented enough, able to enjoy the richness of sticky rice with mango..yum!

so whats now?

heh.. report. to be submitted tom.

hope i can clear all work..before i can actually enjoy my much deserved break to perth again in a few days time!

till then,

cheers!
